how to attend the genuine interview

In india and some and  the students get the the same troubles is how to answer the interview questions? I think these tips are helpful for us.
Take this guys
When you have successfully mastered cover letters, resumes, and job applications and are receiving requests for interviews, it's time to understand how to succeed in the job interview so that you are ever closer to your goal of obtaining one or more job offers.

This article focuses on the 10 most important -- the 10 best -- job-interviewing tips for job-seekers.

Best Job Interviewing Tips for Job-Seekers

1. Conduct Research on the Employer, Hiring Manager, Job Opportunity. Success in a job interview starts with a solid foundation of knowledge on the job-seeker's part. You should understand the employer, the requirements of the job, and the background of the person (or people) interviewing you. The more research you conduct, the more you'll understand the employer, and the better you'll be able to answer interview questions (as well as ask insightful questions -- see #8).
Information sources include the organization's Website and other published materials, search engines, research tools, and your network of contacts. Learn more about job-search job-interview researching here.
2. Review Common Interview Questions and Prepare Responses. Another key to interview success is preparing responses to expected interview questions. First, inquire as to the type of interview to expect (which you can do by asking your contact person at the organization). Your goal is composing detailed yet concise responses, focusing on specific examples and accomplishments. A good tool for remembering your responses is to put them into story form that you can tell in the interview. No need to memorize responses (in fact, it's best not to), but at least develop talking points.
QuintCareers has a number of excellent tools to help you with interview questions and responses. Consider using one or more of these tools:
3. Dress for Success. Plan out a wardrobe that fits the organization and its culture, striving for the most professional appearance you can accomplish. Remember that it's always better to be overdressed than under -- and to wear clothing that fits and is clean and pressed. Keep accessories and jewelry to a minimum. Try not to smoke or eat right before the interview -- and if possible, brush your teeth or use mouthwash.
Find more detailed advice -- including specifics for men and women job-seekers -- in our article, When Job-Hunting, Dress for Success.
4. Arrive on Time for the Interview -- and Prepared for Success. There is no excuse for ever arriving late for an interview -- other than some sort of disaster. Strive to arrive about 15 minutes before your scheduled interview to complete additional paperwork and allow yourself time to get settled. Arriving a bit early is also a chance to observe the dynamics of the workplace.
The day before the interview, pack up extra copies of your resume or CV and reference list. If you have a portfolio or samples of your work, bring those along too. Finally, remember to pack several pens and a pad of paper to jot notes.
Finally, as you get to the offices, shut off your cell phone. (And if you were chewing gum, get rid of it.)
For additional tips and advice, read our article, 24-Hour Countdown to the Job Interview.
5. Make Good First Impressions -- to Everyone You Encounter. A cardinal rule of interviewing: Be polite and offer warm greetings to everyone you meet -- from parking attendant or receptionist to the hiring manager. Employers often are curious how job applicants treat staff members -- and your job offer could easily be derailed if you're rude or arrogant to any of the staff.
When it's time for the interview, keep in mind that first impressions -- the ones interviewers make in the first few seconds of greeting you -- can make or break an interview. Make a strong first impression by dressing well (see #3), arriving early (see #4), and when greeting your interviewer, stand, smile, make eye contact, and offer a firm (neither limp and nor bone-crushing) handshake.
Remember that having a positive attitude and expressing enthusiasm for the job and employer are vital in the initial stages of the interview; studies show that hiring managers make critical decisions about job applicants in the first 20 minutes of the interview.
6. Be Authentic, Upbeat, Focused, Confident, Candid, and Concise. Once the interview starts, the key to success is the quality and delivery of your responses. Your goal should always be authenticity, responding truthfully to interview questions. At the same time, your goal is to get to the next step, so you'll want to provide focused responses that showcase your skills, experience, and fit -- with the job and the employer. Provide solid examples of solutions and accomplishments -- but keep your responses short and to the point.
By preparing responses to common interview questions (see #2), you'll ideally avoid long, rambling responses that bore interviewers. Always attempt to keep your interview responses short and to the point.
Finally, no matter how much an interviewer might bait you, never badmouth a previous employer, boss, or co-worker. The interview is about you -- and making your case that you are the ideal candidate for the job. Read about more interview mistakes in our article, Avoid These 10 Interview Bloopers -- Critical Job-Seeker Mistakes.
7. Remember Body Language, Avoiding Bad Habits. While the content of your interview responses is paramount, poor body language can be a distraction at best -- or a reason not to hire you at worst.
Effective forms of body language: smiling, eye contact, solid posture, active listening, nodding.
Detrimental forms of body language: slouching, looking off in the distance, playing with pen, fidgeting in chair, brushing back hair, touching face, chewing gum, mumbling.
Read more in our article, The Unspoken Secrets of Job Interviewing: How Your Nonverbal Presentation and Behaviors Impact the Impression You Make.
8. Ask Insightful Questions. Studies continually show that employers make a judgment about an applicant's interest in the job by whether or not the interviewee asks questions. Thus, even if the hiring manager was thorough in his or her discussions about the job opening and what is expected, you must ask a few questions.
The smart job-seeker prepares questions to ask days before the interview, adding any additional queries that might arise from the interview.
For an idea of questions you could ask at the interview, see our Questions You Can Ask at the Job Interview, as well as our article, Make a Lasting Impression at Job Interviews Using Questions.
9. Sell Yourself Throughout and then Close the Deal. An adage in interviewing says the most qualified applicant is not always the one who is hired -- which means the hired candidate is often the job-seeker who does the best job in responding to interview questions and showcasing his or her fit with the job, department, and organization.
Some liken the job interview to a sales call. You are the salesperson -- and the product you are selling to the employer is your ability to fill the organization's needs, solve its problems, propel its success.
Finally, as the interview winds down, ask about the next steps in the process and the timetable the employer expects to use to make a decision about the position. If you are applying for a sales job -- or a position requiring equivalent aggressiveness -- consider asking for the job at the end of the interview.
See our article, Closing the Sale and Overcoming Objections in Job Interview.
10. Thank Interviewer(s) in Person, by Email, and Postal Mail. As you have already seen from previous tips, common courtesy and politeness go far in interviewing; thus, the importance of thanking each person who interviews you should come as no surprise. Start the process while at the interview, thanking each person who interviewed you. Writing thank-you emails and notes shortly after the interview will not get you the job offer, but doing so will certainly give you an edge over any of the other finalists who did not bother to send thank-you's.

what are going in north west america ICE storm

the north west america was warned by the storm with fulll ice:
The Storm Track image the forecast snowfall over the next 24 hours. Snow is a type of precipitation in the form of crystalline water ice, consisting of a multitude of snowflakes that fall from clouds. Since snow is composed of small ice pwith full icearticles, it is a granular material. It has an open and therefore soft structure, unless packed by external pressure. The Mshows ETAR code for snow is SN
The winter storm was associated with the November 2014 North American cold wave. On November 13, an extratropical disturbance developed just off the shore of southern Oregon, at the end of an occluded front. Early on November 14, the system fully moved ashore in the Pacific Northwest, and began bringing snowfall to the region. The winter storm quickly moved southeastward and then northeastward, triggering large amounts of lake-effect snow near the Great Lakes beginning on Novemmber 16.On November 16, Lake Erie had a water temperature of 48 °F (9 °C). On November 17, the system reached New England, triggering large amounts of lake-effect snow there as well. The air crossing over the lake by the evening of November 17 was −14 °C (7 °F) at 850 hectopascals at the eastern end of the lake and even colder at its western end; this lapse rate was nearly double that of the dry adiabatic lapse rate and resulted in a very unstable atmosphere at the lower levelsThe surface and lower-level winds were also well-aligned with the fetch of Lake Erie, favoring the formation of a long, intense band of lake-effect snow, and varied little over the next several days, keeping the band in place over the same areas for an extended period. The event was briefly interrupted by a low-pressure system with general snowfall passing through on November 20before reverting to the same synoptic setup as before
High pressure and warmer temperatures moved into the area beginning on November 21, which caused the storm to exit the East Coast, ending the lake-effect snow. The system then quickly began moving northeastward. During the next couple of days, the winter storm eventually intensified reaching a minimum low pressure of 961 mb (28.38 inHg) on November 23. Later on November 23, the system slowly began to weaken.[citation needed] On November 24, the storm decayed into a disorganized 986 mbar system, after moving just east of southern Greenland On November 26, 2014, the weakened winter storm was absorbed by another neighboring system to the northwest of Iceland

I touched his clothes and I could see what he saw, that night he committed suicide. She had passed away 9-21-14 at 79 while suffering during a long decline from cancer surgery and multiple health ailments. She did not look at me directly so not to startle me. She had a cute outfit on with facial makeup and seemed very happy. the amazing mexico smugglers

hurry! the us army stopped the mexico smugglers
Image result for mexico smuggling tunnels
  • US authorities have shut a sophisticated drug smuggling tunnel recently dug under the US-Mexican border. The tunnel – said to be 2.4 miles long – linked a warehouse in Tijuana to another in San Diego, California.
  • Derek Benner, head of Homeland Security Investigations in San Diego, said it was equipped with lights, ventilation and an electric rail system. Benner said the zigzag route suggested the builders had gone off course. The tunnel runs about 10.7m (35 feet) below the surface and is about 1.2m high and 90cm wide.
  • Three people were arrested and more than eight tonnes of marijuana and 147kg of cocaine seized in connection with the "super tunnel", which they said had been closed before it was used for smuggling.
  • The tunnel was discovered by the San Diego Tunnel Task Force. The unit, set up about five years ago, had reportedly put the warehouse on the US side under surveillance after learning about the purchase of drills and other construction equipment in August and September.
  • Mexican cartels have become more dependent on tunnels, small boats and light aircraft in recent years as the fences along the 2,000-mile frontier become higher, stronger and more extensive.
"These cartels have spent years and tens of millions of dollars trying to create a secret underworld of passages so they can move large quantities of drugs," Laura Duffy, the United States attorney for the San Diego region told reporters.
This particular tunnel was reportedly associated with the Sinaloa drug cartel headed by Mexico's most infamous and elusive kingpin, Joaquín 'El Chapo' Archivaldo Guzmán Loera. A similar tunnel connecting Tijuana and San Diego discovered two years ago, connected with the seizure of 32 tonnes of marijuana, was also associated with the Sinaloa cartel. US autorities say they have discovered more than 75 tunnels crossing the border since 2008, concentrated in California and Arizona.
The San Diego/Tijuana area is a popular place for tunnels because of the ease of digging through the clay-like soil of the area, as well as the existence of areas on both sides of the border filled with nondescript warehouses that help hide both construction and loading and unloading activities.
In other parts of the border, cartels have adapted underground drainage tunnels.

UK nurse fight against the ebola

the uk nurse is going to cured the ebola a deadful disease A British military nurse is being flown back to the UK from Sierra Leone after suffering a "needle stick injury" whilst treating an Ebola victim.
The unnamed nurse is "likely" to have been exposed to the deadly virus but has not yet displayed any symptoms and will be closely monitored.
Public Health England (PHE) confirmed that the health care worker had been transported back to England and taken to the Royal Free Hospital in London for assessment.
It said the individual was working in a "front line care setting" when the incident happened.
They arrived back in the UK on an RAF flight on Saturday and will be monitored for the remainder of their 21 incubation period, in line with standard procedures for returning health care workers.
Professor Paul Cosford, PHE’s director for health protection and medical director, said: “Our thoughts are with this person, who has been courageous in helping those affected in West Africa, and in preventing the wider spread of Ebola.
A Royal Free spokesman confirmed that the patient had been admitted for assessment.
It is thought that the medic would have been working at the Kerry Town treatment centre and that the injury happened within the last 48 hours.
This is the period when someone who has had a known exposure to Ebola has a window of opportunity to be safely transported to the UK as they are not yet contagious.
It is believed the military transport arrived at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire in the early hours of this morning.
The Kerry Town complex includes an 80-bed treatment centre to be managed by Save the Children and a 12-bed centre staffed by British Army medics specifically for health care workers and international staff responding to the Ebola crisis.
Needle-stick injuries involve a piercing of the skin, typically by a needle point but also by other sharp instruments or objects, and are a serious occupational hazard for doctors and healthcare workers.
The suspected case follows the recovery of Pauline Cafferkey, 39, the Scottish nurse who almost died after contracting Ebola while working in Sierra Leone.
Doctors announced last week that Miss Cafferkey was now free of the virus after spending more than three weeks at the Royal Free, where she was at times critically ill.
Miss Cafferkey said she was “happy to be alive” and thanked medical staff whom she said had saved her life.
She was diagnosed with Ebola after returning to Glasgow and was initially admitted to the city’s Gartnavel Hospital on December 29, before being transferred to the Royal Free the following day.
Miss Cafferkey, from Cambuslang in South Lanarkshire, had worked as a volunteer with Save The Children at the Ebola Treatment Centre in Kerry Town before returning to the UK.
William Pooley, 29, who contracted Ebola while volunteering in West Africa, has returned to Sierra Leone to resume his work after recovering from the virus.
The nurse, from Eyke in Suffolk, was flown back to the UK by the RAF on August 24 and was taken to the RFH.

coke milk

coke is the daily fod of the americans and some other countries:
Coca-Cola will be hopeful that Fairlife has a longer shelf life than it's failed bottled water, Dasani Coca-Cola will be hopeful that Fairlife has a longer shelf life than it's failed bottled water, Dasani (Getty)
Speaking at Morgan Stanley’s Global Consumer Conference last week, Coca-Cola’s North American chief, Sandy Douglas, said: “It’s basically the premiumisation of milk… We’ll charge twice as much for it as the milk we’re used to buying in a jug.”
Mr Douglas claimed that the milk “tastes better” than regular milk and is made on sustainable dairy farms with “high-care processes” and a “proprietary milk-filtering process”.
Much of America’s milk is made in controversial mega-dairies where up to 30,000 cows are kept indoors all year round. But Mr Douglas said its milk will come from 92 family-owned farms, and Fairlife boasts that it will be “pursuing the highest standards of milk quality, agricultural sustainability and animal comfort”.
A Fairlife spokesman said: “In response to consumer demand for better, wholesome nutrition from safe, responsible sources, Fairlife, a joint venture between Coca-Cola and the Select Milk Producers dairy co-op, is excited to soon be introducing an innovative ultra-filtered milk that… offers consumers a dairy option that is sourced from sustainable family farms and provides strong market potential to redefine the category.”
The move is a major long-term investment for Coca-Cola, which has traditionally focused on carbonated drinks and owns nearly 1,000 drinks brands worldwide.
More recently it has branched out into still orange juice in America and low-sugar drinks elsewhere in the world.
Mr Douglas added: “We’re going to be investing in the milk business for a while to build the brand so it won’t rain money in the early couple of years. But like Simply [orange juice], when you do it well it rains money later.”
Not all Coca-Cola brand adventures have been profitable though. In 2004 the firm was forced to take its Dasani bottled water off British shelf after just four weeks.
The firm was unable to convince British consumers to buy the drink, which was reported to be Sidcup tap water that had been filtered and pumped full of minerals. It was found to contain illegal levels of the chemical bromate.

blackberry is not going to handover

really the samsung wants to became the first place in mobile marketing:blackberry is not gonig to  handover
SEOUL— Samsung Electronics Co.’s co-chief executive said Monday that the company wants to enhance its partnership with BlackBerry Ltd. , but has no intention of acquiring the Canadian handset maker.
“We want to work with BlackBerry and develop this partnership, not acquire the company,” J.K. Shin, who heads Samsung’s mobile-phone business, said in a statement to The Wall Street Journal.
Samsung is separately in talks with BlackBerry to extend the scope of its cooperation, including the potential use of BlackBerry technology in Samsung devices, the company said.
It didn’t elaborate on the potential extension of its agreement.
Rumors of a possible acquisition of BlackBerry by Samsung have persisted for years, particularly as the Waterloo, Ontario-based smartphone maker has struggled against competition in the smartphone market.
Mr. Shin said an acquisition of BlackBerry would be counter to the company’s strategy. Samsung has built its ambitions for the enterprise market around its own security platform, called Knox.

Samsung, the world’s largest maker of handsets, has invested heavily in Knox over the past few years, though it has struggled to gain traction with the platform and hasn’t yet announced any prominent clients for the service.
“We are satisfied with the progress of Knox, including the quality of security and protection that it enables, and remain committed to Knox over the long term,” the company said.
In November, Samsung and BlackBerry signed an agreement that allows each company to sell the other’s mobile-security technology. Samsung has signed similar deals with other enterprise security companies, including Citrix Systems Inc., Good Technology Inc., MobileIron Inc. and VMware Inc. ’s AirWatch.
“We value all of our relationships,” Samsung said.
Samsung also said that it wasn’t craving access to BlackBerry’s patent portfolio, calling attention to its own patent portfolio, which is one of the biggest in the technology world. Samsung said that as of the end of 2013, it has registered more than 110,000 patents globally, including more than 34,000 in the U.S.
Analysts have said BlackBerry’s 44,000 patents could be an attractive asset for Samsung, which has spent much of the past five years in a legal battle with Apple Inc. over patents. Samsung also has signed cross-licensing deals with partners such as Google Inc., giving it some shelter from patent litigation.

shikar dhawan not in form

Every game is important for us. It is important for us to put runs on the board and look to defend it. We have not been able to do that in the couple of games that we have played. We have got partnerships going but we have not been able to capitalise on that.
"We also need to see how we bat in the last 10-12 overs with wickets in hand. That's what we will look to do," Dhoni said.
England go into the knockout match with a fair advantage after humbling India in the league meeting by nine wickets as Eoin Morgan and company also earned a bonus point.
Dhoni believes that England always had the advantage but it's always a new game.
"They had the psychological advantage in ODIs in England as well. We have made the best out of whatever practice sessions we have had. It is not as if the ball comes 15 or 20 km/h faster in Perth. If you bowl at 140 km/h, it will come at that speed only, just that you get a little more bouncer than other Australian wickets," the Indian captain said.
While India failed to defend 267 runs in their opening game against Australia, the Men in Blue were shot out for 153 against England at GABBA. Dhoni though defended his batsmen's shoddy shot selection in Brisbane.
"If you look at the ODI wicket in Brisbane, it was very different to the Test wicket in there. There was bounce but not much pace, it was spongy bounce. Also in 50-over format, there is a need for batsmen to play their shots, it is the demand of the game and at times you have to play according to a particular situation.
"So at times you have to take those risks, at times it pays off and at times it doesn't pay off," said the wicketkeeper-batsman.
The batting looked unsettled after Rohit Sharma's exit post the first game and Shikhar Dhawan's form hasn't helped the team's cause. Dhoni though feels that the middle-order batsmen should also play their part well.
"The top-order's form isn't the biggest concern. We have lost too many wickets in the middle order. It's not what you want if you have a good start. That is what is happening to us," said Dhoni.
Also explaining the think-tank's move to settle Virat Kohli at No.4, Dhoni said it gives more balance to the line-up.
"The reason why Virat Kohli is batting at number four is to strengthen the middle and lower-middle order. If Ravindra Jadeja is not there and Akshar Patel is playing, he hasn't got much experience outside the sub-continent. If I am batting at six, I cannot be worried about the batsman coming after me. We need to capitalise on the last 8-10 overs and it can be very crucial.
That's the reason why Virat has to bat at number four and we can manoeuvre around him if he gets a partnership going," he said, though agreeing that the ploy hasn't worked so far.
With Rohit ruled out of the last league match game despite looking fit in the nets on Thursday, all eyes will be on Dhawan, who needs to prove his worth before the World Cup.
"That's where experience counts. It's not like every cricketer goes through a patch where he keeps scoring runs. Shikhar didn't have a Test series in England, but I felt he did decently well in the ODIs. So it's important for him to be himself, back his strengths, whatever his strength is because the change of format can really work in your favour.
"You have to be a bit more expressive. You can play your big shots. It is always about those first 10-15 minutes. You play a couple of good shots, you hit the middle of the bat and you are back in form," Dhoni signed off.

friendships of dragon and elephant

Wen has promised to open up the Chinese market in IT, pharma and agro-products for Indian business.
No matter whether India has  already ‘emerged’ (as Obama declares) or is merely ‘emerging,’ there is no doubt that there is now a huge business interest in the $1.3 trillion Indian market growing at a phenomenal rate of 8 per cent plus. The visits by the British prime minister, the US president, the French president, now the Chinese premier, to be followed by the Russian president — all within the year 2010 — is a big testimony to that.

The significance of the current visit by the ‘communist’ Chinese premier Wen Jiabao accompanied by some 400-member business delegation (which has a striking similarity to the ‘capitalist’ US president’s visit with the top US business CEOs) has to be understood against the backdrop of the current economic landscape of the world. The economies of the western world (US, EU and Japan) are showing little promise of going back to their pre-recession growth rates in the foreseeable future and resentment against Chinese economic policies (specially undervalued yuan) is growing in the West.

So, China is trying to gradually move away from its export-led growth strategy built on selling manufactured goods (mainly) to the western world with the help of high savings, low wages and undervalued yuan to a model which has to allow rising wages, higher domestic consumption, a more market-determined exchange rate, more sales to non-western markets through exports and setting up production-cum-servicing facilities abroad.

As a result, China is now looking to engage more with the emerging economies in Asia and Africa which are growing faster than western economies (providing alternative markets for Chinese goods), offer cheaper production locations and are important sources of crucial natural resources (agricultural land, minerals, energy) which the fast growing overpopulated Chinese economy will need more and more to sustain itself.

China has already built up a huge foreign exchange reserve of some $2.5 trillion — most of it held in US government bonds offering a very low return due to both low US interest rate and declining US dollar. China is no longer keen to accumulate more dollar funds. Chinese high savings (more than 50 per cent of GDP) kept mostly in Chinese banks is searching for better and safer investment avenues.

India’s plan to invest some $1 trillion in infrastructure in the 12th 5-year Plan offers Chinese banks (mostly state-owned) huge opportunities to invest in India, financing purchase of equipment by Indian companies (a typical example is the $8.3 billion agreement between Reliance Power buying equipment from Shanghai Electric Power Company and construction projects.

Chinese construction firms typically insist on bringing their own labour which provides jobs to Chinese workers. All these are making India an attractive economic proposition for Chinese business and financial institutions.

Self-interest
Despite various political irritants like lingering old border disputes, new claims over Arunachal Pradesh, stapled visa for residents of Jammu and Kashmir, Chinese military and construction activities in PoK (interestingly, Wen’s India visit will be immediately followed by a visit to Pakistan — in sharp contrast to Obama’s visit to India not followed by one to Pakistan) the pragmatic Chinese leaders have no problem in engaging economically with India so long as it serves its interest.

In fact, China has already replaced the USA as the largest trading partner of India. India-China bilateral merchandise trade is more than $42 billion in 2009-10 as against less than $13 billion in 2004-05 and less than $2 billion in 1999-2000.

The major problem from India’s side is the rising trade deficit with China which stands at more than $19 billion in 2009-10 as against only $1.5 billion in 2004-05. Some trade theorists may suggest that India should not be too concerned with the bilateral trade deficit so long as it has manageable multilateral trade balance and the trade deficit with China may simply reflect the current pattern of comparative advantage.

However, most Indian business people and the Indian government are not willing to buy that. Their major argument is that Indian firms have been very successful in exporting in areas like IT, pharma and processed meat products to highly competitive western markets but has not been able to penetrate the Chinese market. This is evidence of the existence of various non-tariff barriers in China against Indian exporters. To ally these concerns, Wen has specifically promised to open up the Chinese market in IT, pharmaceutical and agro-products for Indian business.

Another area of concern is the very low level of bilateral FDI flows. Chinese FDI into India is a meagre $52 million. Increasingly, the Chinese are realising that without manufacturing and servicing facilities near the market, Chinese firms will not be able to sell their heavy equipment and durable consumer goods in a big way. So, the Chinese may very well agree to set up more manufacturing and servicing facilities in India (providing jobs to Indian workers) in its self interest and as a quid pro quo would allow more Indian companies to set up production facilities in China.

Given that the Indian companies (like Reliance Power) is able to get equipment at significantly lower price from China along with financing at a low interest rate and longer maturity, the increasing economic exchange between the dragon and the elephant has the potential to be a win-win for both. However, to realise the potential, India needs to a hard bargainer.

India and Zimbabwe signed Joint Commission Agreement in January 1987.  Four meetings of the Joint Commission have been held so far – first in New Delhi in April 1987; second in Harare in February 1989; third in New Delhi in October 1990 and the fourth in Harare in January 1996.  No Joint Commission meeting has been held since 1996 mainly due to Zimbabwe’s economic turmoil.  Dates for holding 5th JCM in Delhi are being worked out.
A SoM was held in Ministry of Commerce and Industry in New Delhi in February 2012, followed by the 2nd Joint Trade Committee meeting in Harare in March 2013.
The Air Services Agreement between India and Zimbabwe was signed on June 19, 2014 in Harare.
The frequency of visits by business delegations from Zimbabwe has gone up in the last few years and a probable turn-around in the Zimbabwean economy in the future can open up considerable opportunities for Indian companies in agro-processing, mining, telecommunications, power and pharmaceuticals.  From the Indian side, a delegation each from CII and FICCI visited Zimbabwe in November 2013 and May 2014 respectively and participated in business seminars and B-2-B meetings.
Indian public sector companies like Indian Railway Construction Company (IRCON), Rail India Technical & Economic Services (RITES), Water and Power Consultancy Services (WAPCOS) and Telecommunications India Ltd. (TCIL) had a successful history of engagement with Zimbabwe.
Kirloskar and Jain Irrigation have supplied pumps and irrigation equipment.  Some Indian companies are looking for investments in mining – coal, granite, gold and diamonds.
India has strong presence in pharmaceutical sector in Zimbabwe and Indian medicines are readily available in the local market.  Ranbaxy and lpca Labs Ltd. have also established business relations with the Zimbabwean health sector.  An Indian pharmaceutical company, “Shreya” had invested about US$ 1 million in the largest pharmaceutical company of Zimbabwe – ‘CAPS Ltd’.  M/s Chadha Power of India were awarded a contract in April 2008 to refurbish four units at the Hwange Thermal Power Station near Victoria Falls.
Investments by a few other Indian companies in Zimbabwe are detailed below:
Surface Investment  set up a multi-seed edible oil producing plant near Harare capable of producing 120,000 bottles of edible oil daily with an investment of nearly US$ 1.5 million. The project is a joint venture between Midex Global Pvt. Ltd., Indore and Industrial Development Corporation of Zimbabwe on 74 : 26 sharing basis.
Graffax Cotton Pvt. Ltd. – 100% foreign-owned EPZ company – has investment of US$ 2.5 million.  It has one cotton-ginning plant in Sanyati and Mt. Darwin in Zimbabwe.  The company has plans to install a spinning project to process 3000 tons of lint per annum into yarn and fabrics at Ardnbenny in Harare and an oil extraction/solvent plant at Mt. Darwin.
PM Electronics is exporting transformers to Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority (ZESA).  The company has also signed a technology transfer agreement with ZESA Enterprises – a subsidiary of ZESA – for a transformer manufacturing project in Harare.
Apollo Tyres has invested US$ 200 million in Dunlop South Africa, whose subsidiary is Dunlop Zimbabwe.
Technofab Engineering Limited, Delhi won three orders worth US$ 30 million in early 2013, for rehabilitation of water supply and sewage systems in Mutare, Harare, Chitungwiza, Kwekwe, Chegutu and Masvingo.  The project is funded by Crown Agents on behalf of Ministry of Finance, Government of Zimbabwe.
Angelique International Ltd. Delhi were awarded contract for works “Emergency Power Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project” by the Government of Zimbabwe in 2013.  The project is funded by European donors.
Another Indian firm Indure (Private) Ltd. was reported to have won tender worth US$ 11 million in August 2013 to rehabilitate and upgrade the ash plant at the Hwange Thermal Power Station.
Tata International acquired Blackwood Hodge (Zimbabwe) Pvt. Ltd. Co. dealing in trading and invested approx. US$ 2.5 million.
Jaguar and BEML are vying for project in Zimbabwe.
On the cultural side, Zimbabwe and India signed an agreement in 1981 which facilitated cultural exchange programmes for the years 1992 to 1994; but due lack of capacity to reciprocate on the part of Zimbabwe, cultural interaction has become somewhat unidirectional thereafter with groups visiting here largely for the Harare International Festival of Arts (HIFA).
In the last five years, a Goan folk music & dance troupe; and a classical music group led by world renowned Shujaat Hussein Khan; a Kuchipudi dance troupe led by Ms. Sailaja and an Odissi troupe led by Ms. Reela Hota, a 5-member Kathak troupe led by TV Frame, Ms Prachee S. Shah visited Zimbabwe to participate in Harare International Festival of Arts held from 1-5 May 2007. In 2008, two cultural troupes sponsored by the ICCR visited Zimbabwe – a 7-member Bhajan Group of Agnihotri Bandhu in March 2008 and a 12-member Gujarati Folk Dance Group ‘Panghat” in October 2008.  A 5-member Kathak troupe led by Ms. S. Mehta participated in 2009 and a 12-member Gujarati Folk Dance Troupe led by Mr. Shivajibhai Bhoye participated at annual HIFA programme from 27 April-3 May, 2010. A 12-member Bhangra troupe, sponsored by ICCR, participated in HIFA and gave six performances in and outside Harare in May 2012.  Another ICCR-sponsored Gujarati dance troupe gave around half a dozen performances in Zimbabwe in November 2012.  A Rajasthani dance troupe participated in HIFA in May 2014.

A photo exhibition ‘My Land My People’ curated by Raghu Rai was also displayed in Harare.  India has also been participating in international film festivals in Zimbabwe.
Three editions of Indian Food Festival were held successfully in Meikles Hotel, Harare in November 2012, October 2013 and October 2014 by the Embassy in collaboration with ITDC.
Two editions of Indian Handicrafts Exhibitions were organized by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts, India, in collaboration with Embassy in Harare in November 2012 and September-October 2013.
Indian Origin Community
The beginning of Indian presence in Zimbabwe goes back to about 1890 when Indian plantation workers in apartheid South Africa crossed over to the then Southern Rhodesia.  At present the number of Zimbabweans of Indian origin, who are predominantly from the province of Gujarat, is estimated at about 9,000.  The community has formed societies on religious lines, though they live in harmony.  This PIO community has mainly engaged itself in retail trade or export-import business, while the younger generations have mostly moved out of the country for better opportunities as professionals.  A few hundred PIOs hold British/Australian passports.
As regards the expatriate Indian community, their number is 500.  Some of them are on long term business/work permits while most are professionals engaged in computer software, accountancy, banking, etc.
By and large, the Indian community is well respected in Zimbabwe and has maintained cordial relations with the majority community.  Senator K. G. Patel was a member of the Politburo and Central Committee of the ruling party, he died in 2011 and was given Hero’s status in 2012.  Mr. Bharat Patel is a Supreme Court Judge, Justice (Retd.) Justice Ahmed Ebrahim was awarded Pravasi Bhartiya Samman in 2004.

fatekpur sikri built for jotha by akbar.another one love monuments

Fatehpur Sikri:
Built during the second half of the 16th century by the Emperor Akbar, Fatehpur Sikri (the City of Victory) was the capital of the Mughal Empire for only some 10 years. The complex of monuments and temples, all in a uniform architectural style, includes one of the largest mosques in India, the Jama Masjid.
Fatehpur Sikri bears exceptional testimony to the Mughal civilization at the end of the 16th century. It offers a unique example of architectural ensembles of very high quality constructed between 1571 and 1585. Its form and layout strongly influenced the evolution of Indian town planning, notably at Shahjahanabad (Old Delhi).
The 'City of Victory' had only an ephemeral existence as the capital of the Mughal empire. The Emperor Akbar (1556-1605) decided to construct it in 1571, on the same site where the birth of his son, the future Jahangir, was predicted by the wise Shaikh Salim Chisti (1480-1572). The work, supervised by the great Mughal himself, was completed in 1573. In 1585, however, Akbar abandoned Fatehpur Sikri to fight against the Afghan tribes and choose a new capital, Lahore. Fatehpur Sikri was to be the seat of the great Mughal court only once more for three months in 1619, when Jahangir sought refuge there from the plague that devastated Agra. The site was then finally abandoned, until its archaeological exploration in 1892.
This capital without a future, some 40 km from Agra was, however, considerably more than the fancy of a sovereign during the 14 years of its existence. The city, which the English traveller Ralph Fitch considered in 1585 as 'considerably larger than London and more populous', comprised a series of palaces, public buildings and mosques, as well as living areas for the court, the army, servants of the king and for an entire population whose history has not been recorded.
Only one tiny part of the city (where the large buildings are concentrated) has been until now, studied, visited and relatively well preserved. Fatehpur Sikri, constructed on a rocky plateau, south-east of an artificial lake, created for the occasion and today partially dried up, is bounded on three sides by a 6 km wall, fortified by towers and pierced by seven gates (the best preserved is the Gate of Agra, the second from the north). This spacious enclosure defines the limits of the new foundation rather than assuring its defence.
The majority of the important monuments are found to the north of the road from Gaza to Agra; constructed of red sandstone, they form a homogeneous group, even if the eclecticism of their style is evident and is based on borrowings from Hindu, Persian and Indo-Muslim traditions. Among the numerous palaces, gazebos, pavilions, etc., may be cited in particular:
Diwan-i-Am, the Hall of Public Audience, is encircled by a series of porticos which are broken up by the insertion of the imperial box where Akbar, surrounded by his ministers and officers meted out justice. This box communicates directly with Daulat Khana (Imperial Palace), flanked to the north by Diwan-i-Kas (Hall of Private Audience), called the 'Jewel House', a monument known for its central plan, which comprises an extraordinary capital surmounted by a circular balcony: the 'throne'.
Other monuments of exceptional quality are the Ranch Mahal, whose elevation of four recessed storeys recalls certain Buddhist temples, the pavilion of Anup Talao, or the Turkish Sultana, the palace of Jodh Bai, the palace of Birbal, the caravanserai and the problematic 'stables'.
Owing to the piety of Akbar, many religious and votive monuments were constructed at Fatehpur Sikri. The great mosque (Jama Masjid), one of the most spacious in India (165 m by 133 m) could accommodate some 10,000 faithful; it was completed in 1571-72 and according to the dedicatory inscription deserves no less respect than Mecca. It incorporates, in the centre of the court, the tomb of Shaikh Salim, an extraordinary Christian masterpiece of sculpted decoration, further embellished under the reign of Jahangir.
To the south of the court, the Buland Damaza, completed in 1575, commemorating the victories (the taking of Gujarat in 1572) to which the city, their monumental symbol, owes its existence and its name.

Pink revolutions in india

modi hits of new pink revolution:
New Delhi: During Lok Sabha poll campaign then BJP’s PM candidate Narendra Modi raised issue of rising export of buffalo meat during the then UPA government and termed it as ‘Pink Revolution’.

Today, after almost 6 months, government said that export of buffalo meat has risen by almost 16 per cent.
In a fresh data released by Ministry of Commerce, export of buffalo meat has risen by 15.58 per cent which indicates about the Modi government’s biggest ever U-turn.

“No demand from any State to impose ban / restrictions on export of meat and meat products in the recent past. However, representations are being received time to time from some religious/social organisations demanding ban on export of meat and its products,” the government said.

The latest data hints that issue of ‘Pink Revolution’ might used only as an issue of election as government, so far, is mum over the issue.  From April to October, 2013, Indian exported buffalo meat worth Rs 13,917 crore.

January 23, 2015 Update
On January 16th, 2015, a major milestone was reached on the Lesner Bridge Replacement Project – the first bridge segment for the new WB (westbound) bridge was successfully cast at Atlantic Metrocast, Inc. which is located in Portsmouth, VA.  This segment is shown below along with the formwork for bridge segment 2 which is being match-cast against the first bridge segment.  Concrete for segment 2 was placed on January 22, 2015.

The casting yard will quickly begin to produce these bridge segments on a regular basis – all 171 one of them for the WB Bridge.  Needless to say, there is a lot of exciting activity taking place right now at the casting yard as the momentum builds on the project.

The casting yard isn’t the only place where a lot of activity is taking place on the bridge replacement project.  Over the past several weeks you may have also noticed a number of changes at the project site:
  • The retaining wall on the west side of the bridge (in front of 3556 On The Bay) has nearly been completed;
  • Construction of the retaining wall for the new bridge approach has started on the east side of the bridge along the former Duck Inn property and is rapidly taking shape;
  • The last of the concrete for the temporary bulkhead at the Lynnhaven Dredge Material Storage Area has been placed and the bulkhead is now being backfilled with sand;
  • The painted and faded temporary pavement markings on Shore Drive between Page Avenue and East Stratford Street have been replaced with thermoplastic markings and reflective pavement markers;
  • Utility work within the new bridge approach on the west side of the bridge is now nearing completion.  The base course for the new roadway has recently been placed and compacted in front of 3556 On The Bay Condominiums;
  • All of the steel reinforcing and formwork has been placed for the column at pier #1.  Concrete will be placed in this pier column either Tuesday or Wednesday next week;
  • The concrete cap for pier #2 was placed last week.  The steel reinforcing for the bridge column at pier #2 is now being assembled;
  • The last of the drilled shafts at bridge pier #3 was completed this week and the bridge contactor will be making preparations to mobilize equipment to bridge pier #4 which is located next to the existing wooden fender system along the Federal Channel (there are 9 piers for each bridge);
  • An area of Ocean Park Beach next to the new retaining wall has been prepared to receive the 30 storage containers of parts for the gantry crane that will be

some body lizards are takes as pet?

Size: The largest lizard is the Komodo monitor. It can grow longer than a person. The smallest lizard is a tiny gecko.
Characteristics: Most lizards have dry, scaly skin. They have four legs, clawed feet, and a long tail. You can see their outside ear opening.
Lizards have a weak tail. A small bump or tug will break it off. This will puzzle the enemy. The lizard can get away. Not all lizards have weak tails.
Lizard tails help in balance and movement. Fat is stored in the tail. Losing the tail can be a big problem. Some lizards can grow a new tail.

Food: Some lizards eat bugs and spiders. Others eat plants, small animals, or even other lizards.
Most lizards use their eyes to look for food. Some use their sense of smell.
Lizards have jaws with teeth. They also have teeth on the roof of their mouth
Lizards are fun and easy to watch. They are most active on warm, summer days. On very hot days, some lizards hide.
Most lizards sleep through the winter. On warm days, they sometimes come out to eat.
Locomotion: Most lizards can run, climb, and cling. A few can swim.
People often see lizards dart over logs and rocks. They run quickly across the ground. However, some lizards have small, weak legs. These lizards move slowly.

Enemies: The lizard has many enemies. Some lizards are eaten by birds. They are also eaten by animals, snakes, and other lizards.
Defenses: Some lizards break off their tails to escape enemies. Other lizards may swell up, hiss, or move their tail or body to scare an enemy. Some lizards can change colors to hide.
Few lizards are dangerous. But, be careful of lizards. Many lizards bite or have sharp spines.
Other Threats: Human are a probem for lizards. Some people eat lizards or lizard eggs. In the past, people killed lizards and sold their skin.
The lizard's habitat is sometimes destroyed by people building towns or farms
This is just to show people that lizards learn their names, and will come to me when I call them. Also I am one of the first breeders in the U.S. of Blackthroat Monitors and Green Iguanas. I have worked with Mark Bayless on habitat and breeding techniques. I started before full blown internet, and most info was with dial up (AOL). I have been raising lizards for over 40 years steady and have had great success with my lizards. Thanks for watching my videos and I hope they can stimulate your mind on the possibilities on what reptiles can do.

The radium girls are well attracted

Keane and her co-workers at Waterbury Clock Co., all young women, were told they could paint faster if they dipped their brushes into the radium-laden paint and then sharpened the bristles with their lips.
But the paint was bitter and Keane would not "lip-point," as the practice was known.
"I made 62 cents one day," Keane told The Courant 10 years ago. "That's when my boss came to me and said I better find another job."
The foreman probably saved Keane's life. She worked in the dial painting room for eight to nine weeks, then transferred to another job at the company.
"The boss actually said, 'You don't like this, do you?' " recalled Keane's niece, Patricia Cohn of Middlebury, with whom Keane lived for the final 13 years of her life.
Keane, 107, died Saturday at her home in Middlebury. Keane's family believes she was the last of the so-called radium girls from Waterbury.
Keane recalled learning of radium's deadly affects when her co-workers from that summer began to die in 1927. Later, a friend warned her not to have a tooth pulled because her mouth would never heal.
About 15 of the young dial painters in Waterbury died from radium poisoning during the 1920s and '30s. Scores of women died later after suffering for years from crumbling bones and rotted jaws.
"We were young. We didn't know anything about the paint," Keane said in 2004.
She eventually left Waterbury Clock — now Timex based in Middlebury — and held office jobs until her retirement. She married a Waterbury police officer, but never had children.
Keane lost all of her teeth in her 1930s and suffered pain in her gums until she died, Cohn said. She also survived breast and colon cancer, but could never say whether the exposure to radium caused the cancer.
"I was one of the fortunate ones," Keane told an interviewer in 2004.
Similar ailments afflicted dial painters who worked at factories in Orange, N.J., and Ottawa, Ill. The case of the radium girls eventually led to federal law that placed industrial diseases under workers' compensation rules.
Working in the dial room at Waterbury Clock was considered a good job, especially for a woman in 1920s Waterbury, Cohn said.
"It paid well and wasn't a dirty factory," she said. "It was considered a very good job for a woman."
The company wanted women with small hands and fine motor skills to point the watch dials, she said.
  • "It was really good she stunk at the job," Cohn said.
