Prime Minister Narendra Modi
is scheduled to visit Russia on December 23-24 to meet President
Vladimir Putin. Modi will leave India on Wednesday. After their meeting
in Moscow on Thursday, the two leaders are expected to sign key
agreements on defence and nuclear energy.
The Indian prime minister will also hold official bilateral talks and address a Friends of India Event at the Expo Centre to be attended by some 3000 people in Moscow.
