modi hits of new pink revolution:
New Delhi: During Lok Sabha poll
campaign then BJP’s PM candidate Narendra Modi raised issue of rising
export of buffalo meat during the then UPA government and termed it as
‘Pink Revolution’.
Today, after almost 6 months, government said that export of buffalo meat has risen by almost 16 per cent.
In a fresh data released by Ministry of Commerce, export of buffalo meat has risen by 15.58 per cent which indicates about the Modi government’s biggest ever U-turn.
“No demand from any State to impose ban / restrictions on export of meat and meat products in the recent past. However, representations are being received time to time from some religious/social organisations demanding ban on export of meat and its products,” the government said.

The latest data hints that issue of ‘Pink Revolution’ might used only as an issue of election as government, so far, is mum over the issue. From April to October, 2013, Indian exported buffalo meat worth Rs 13,917 crore.
Modi govt's biggest U-turn ! Modi govt mum on meat export whch was termed ‘#PinkRevolution’ & vowed to impose ban on it during LS poll.
